The way I used to imagine my life turning out was not what God had actually planned for me. He opened the right doors when I was ready and I feel so thankful every day to have the opportunity to do what I am passionate about and truly serve and love on my clients. I strive to create beautiful and meaningful images that tell a story like no other and to showcase the beauty of both the people in the images, but the world they live in as well. Being professionally trained as a Fine Art photographer taught me so many new ways to experience and capture the beauty of the world we live in, crafting new ways to create a story with beautiful visuals. All this time in my studio led me to realize my love for telling the stories that already exist in the people around me. Photography is something that truly I love and cherish - creating these real and lasting relationships with my clients is where my heart will always lie.
Things that make my heart happy
If you had told me a few years ago that when I am 27 years old I’ll be married to my best friend and would have the opportunity to be a full-time wedding photographer and business owner, I would have laughed. Because, you see, a few years ago I was just a college art major worrying about how I was going to make a real living with an art degree. Dreading the 9-5 work day that “everyone” has to grow up and accept. All while feeling God’s constant tug on my heart that my “American Dream” of marriage at 21, 2.5 kids, white picket fence, with an office job wasn’t the real dream that I aspired for. The thought of being an entrepreneur and building my own business seemed daunting and, honesty, completely out of my reach. While I still struggle to believe my life is what it is, I know God knew the path I was supposed to take.

Brent and I met in college and immediately connected. That seems pretty likely to happen when you sit next to a good looking boy everyday all summer long in a Geology class, but I like to think of it as God pushing us together before leaving college for the real world. 6 years later and we are coming up on our third Wedding Anniversary and it still doesn't feel real at all!
Brent is my best friend, the best cuddle buddy after a hard day, and my biggest supporter. I feel so lucky to be loved by him, and I can’t wait to see all the adventures we go on together.

I accept no more than 15 weddings, and a limited number of senior and portrait sessions per year to ensure I can really get to know each and every one of my couples and deliver exceptional galleries. Wedding pricing begins at $4300 and senior portrait sessions begin at $450
