Ever wanted to go to Nashville for a fun girl’s trip with your best friends but have no idea what to do? Well, let me help you! This city is simply full of life. It has amazing restaurants, great shopping, fun historical sites and an endless amount of incredible live music.
Let’s Chat Locations:
Grand Ole Opry. This theatre is historic and holds so much value. Some of the most talented artists have played here and being inducted into this ‘house’ is a great accomplishment. If you have a chance to catch a show here or even just take the backstage tour, it is something you won’t forget.
Taste of The Gulch. This is one of Nashville’s famous neighborhoods. It has great food, cute boutiques and more. It even has the famous ‘Angel Wings’ mural on one of the buildings.
Broadway & 5th and Broadway. This street is what makes Nashville ‘Music City’. This is where the live music is on a constant cycle. There are some incredibly talented people who play with their bands day-in and day-out. Then right off this street is a place that has a lot of restaurants, shopping and more live music called 5th and Broadway. Be sure to check these out! I absolutely love doing a photography session of girls having the most fun of their lives together on Broadway.
Visit Franklin, TN. The cutest town that has so much charm and a lot of history a part of it. Easily spend a day here with your girlfriends and don’t forget to check out the war cites too in this quaint historic town! The Franklin Theatre is a popular stop for artists from all over the world and is one of the top places for proposals in Tennessee. Could you ask for a cuter place for engagement pictures?!
Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. This is an iconic place to visit as it holds interactive exhibits, music awards, impressive artifacts and much more. It will help you appreciate the impact country music all while taking you back through decades of history of this music.
Build a Custom Hat. Head to Rustle Hat Co. and build and design your own personal hat. This is a great souvenir to take from here and you could match with your friends if you wanted to. These high quality hats are so cute and such a fun activity to do! You know you will be Instagramable when walking down Broadway in these hats!
Arrington Vineyards. Who doesn’t love some wine tasting? Check out this vineyard and all their amazing wines. It is the prettiest area in the hills and a great way to spend a day. What could be better than pictures of you and your girls sipping local wine and having a picnic?
Check Out A Few Breweries. This speaks for itself and what you do there. A few of the fan favorites are Diskin Brewery, Bearded Iris, Tailgate, Tennessee Brew Works and many more. You could even stop by the Moonshine Distillery at 6th & Peabody!
Bus Tours, Party Busses, or Pedal Tavern. These are great options to check out the city, the music scene and of course get some more information and historic facts about the city. These are so fun to do as a group, but make sure to book them ahead of time.
Centennial Park. If you want a relaxing and low key day, spend it at Centennial Park. It is an open green space with a pond and walking trail. It even a full-size parthenon with historical facts inside. This park is actually one of my favorite locations for engagement sessions and family sessions. There is nothing quite like a photography session when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom here!
I hope this gives you a good idea on what the music city is full of. You really could spend a lot of time here and learn and experience so much. Take the trip here, you will not regret it!
