This had to be one of my all time favorite proposals to date. Cody reached out and asked me if I could help plan a surprise engagement to his girlfriend, Karsyn. We talked back and fourth and came up with the most beautiful location and time to make the perfect proposal happen.

As engagement day rolled around I couldn’t help but be so excited for these two. It was the perfect day for a proposal, sunny and blue skies with trees surrounding the proposal spot. Cody was a little anxious as this was going to be one of the biggest and most exciting questions he’s ever going to ask.

When Karsyn finally approached the spot she thought they were just taking couple’s photos at, you could see the relief on Cody’s face and the love and calmness that set in just with her presence there. He was so ready to pop the question! And she was in total shock when he got down on one knee. Her facial expressions say it all. Complete surprise but also filled with so much love and excitement. This engagement totally felt like we were in a movie.

I am so happy Cody asked me to capture this moment for them. I hope these pictures bring them so much joy and happiness for the rest of their fairytale together.
